Kyle was raised in Dallas, TX, and currently resides there. He spent six years in the US Navy before going to college. Before enlisting, he went through a somewhat bohemian phase, staying up all night to have pedantic and having pretentious discussions about literature, art, and philosophy. These conversations usually occurred over a cup of coffee with the omnipresent cigarette dangling from his lips. The cigarette is gone, but coffee has replaced the blood in his veins.
Kyle holds a BA in anthropology and an MS in applied anthropology, both from the University of North Texas. He currently works as a research coordinator/assistant for UT Southwestern Medical Center at the Dallas VA hospital. He also teaches the occasional anthropology class at Collin County Community College.
